RAVEN BANNER ANNOUNCES SINISTER CINEMA SHORT FILM CONTEST

Canadian horror filmmakers! Want a chance to have your short play before national Cineplex audiences across Canada?

Raven Banner Entertainment is calling all Canadian filmmakers to submit their scariest short films as part of their exciting SINISTER CINEMA SHORT FILM CONTEST!


The best film – judged by Raven Banner’s Michael Paszt, James Fler, and Andrew Hunt - will screen Thursday May 29 before Cabin Fever – Patient Zero (directed by Canadian filmmaker Kaare Andrews) in Cineplex theatres across Canada – from Victoria, British Columbia to St. John’s, Newfoundland.

Contest Details

SINISTER CINEMA SHORT FILM CONTEST DETAILS:
- No theme restrictions, but the more Sinister the better
- Four minute minimum – six minute maximum
- The deadline to submit a short film is April 14
- Finished film must be shot in HD and finished as an Apple ProRes 23.98 1920x1080
- Upload video to the Sinister Cinema Short Film Contest Group - https://vimeo.com/groups/sinistershorts

The winning filmmaker will be notified by April 30. In addition to having their film screen theatrically across Canada, the filmmaker will receive 10 free passes to their nearest participating Cineplex theatre so they can share in the experience with family & friends.
